1.选题依据,重要性

In recent years, more and more people pay attention to the use of learning strategies in foreign language learning. However, due to individual differences of learners, learners will choose different learning strategies, and different learning strategies will directly influence the effect of learning. Therefore, in order to let learners to better master their own suitable learning strategies, the author carries on investigation and analysis and put forward the corresponding suggestions to improve the current situation of English learning strategies of junior middle school students.

2.意义

Through the research and application of English Learning Strategies, can stimulate students’ interest in learning, guide the students' learning process, improve students' learning efficiency, so as to realize the efficient English classroom, and comprehensively improve the quality of education and teaching. Through the research, can also further updating teachers’ education concept, improving the overall quality of teachers and research level, to promote the professional growth of teachers .

3.研究目标

The aim of this paper on the one hand is to guide the junior middle school students to master effective english learning strategies, and achieve the goals that students can use the learning strategies of language learning task after the class. On the other hand is to assist educators more effective to train students to use strategies.

4. The Definitions of Learning Strategy

There is no uniform requirement the Scholars describe of the concept of learning strategies

Oxford define further the development of learning strategies , she thought , " learning strategies are specific actions taken by the learner to make learning easier , faster, more enjoyable , more autonomous, more likely to adapt the new environment. "

5. The Classifications of Learning Strategy

Because there are a variety of definitions of learning strategies, the classification of learning strategy is no uniform requirement.

My paper is according to the "standard" definition. cognitive strategy refers to the procedures and methods of cognitive strategies students learn in order to complete specific tasks undertaken. Control strategy is students learn to plan for , implement , reflection , evaluation and adjustment of strategies. Communication strategy is a variety of strategies in order to attract more students to networking opportunities , maintain communication and improve communicative effects taken. Resource strategy is rational and effective use of a variety of media students to learn and use English strategies.

 

根据《标准》的界定,认知策略指学生为了完成具体学习任务而采取的步骤和方法。策略是指学生对学习进行计划、实施、反思、评价和调整的策略。交际策略是学生为了争取更多的交际机会、维持交际以及提高交际效果而采取的各种策略。资源策略是学生合理并有效利用多种媒体进行学习和运用英语的策略。

6.The Factors of Influencing Learning Strategy Selection

The difference of foreign language learners use the frequency and types of learning strategies is vary widely, mainly because there are many factors that affect strategy choice.

These factors are Age. Attitude . Motives. Gender . Cognitive ability. Personality. The level of meta-cognitive development of students. In addition, different experiences, ideas, they are also important factors restricting learning strategy choice.

7、结语

In recent years, Chinese scholars on foreign language learning strategy research has been introduced, also has the study of college English major students learning strategies, and few study are about middle school students' English learning strategies and the influence of gender differences in learning strategies.the author tries to find the frequency of junior middle school students use English learning strategies through questionnaire, and master the features of English learning strategies, and discusses how to cultivate students' foreign language learning strategies.

   

近年来,中国学者对外语学习策略的研究已经出台,也有大学英语专业学生的学习策略的研究,很少有研究中学生英语学习策略。性别差异在学习策略的影响,试图找到通过问卷调查的学生中,研究初中生使用频率的英语学习策略,掌握英语学习策略的特点,并讨论了如何培养学生的外语学习策略。
